About Us
Our Pastor
Pastor Chris has been the lead pastor at Hillside Community Church since 2022.
He is passionate about biblically sound preaching and teaching and seeing God transform people's lives.
He is a loving husband and father of two boys who enjoys pizza, a good book, and the outdoors.

Our Vision
When Jesus dwelt among us in the flesh, He called people to follow Him. Those who did were with Him daily, sitting at His feet listening to His teaching. They were watching Him, learning from Him and being mentored by Him, growing in spiritual maturity. Their experience with Jesus was transformational.
We want to help people to walk with Him daily. We want to equip believers with the right resources and opportunities so that they can learn and grow as disciples of Christ. We intend to empower people to become more intentional about their spiritual growth. Everything we do is rooted in His teaching and relies on the power and direction of His Spirit.
As our inner person is being transformed, we expect to see that transformation impact every area of our lives, beginning with our homes. The home is the first place we should practice being like Christ to others. We want to partner with families to help make their homes a place of spiritual health and stability.
Our Core Values
We strive to be great at the “greats.” There is a commandment that Jesus said was the greatest, and another that is like it. We must love the Lord our God above all else and love our neighbor as ourselves.
The Bible is our authoritative guide for faith and conduct. The Scriptures are inspired by God and are His revelation to humanity. They are the ultimate source of truth for life’s most important questions.
We are disciples making disciples. As the original twelve disciples did, we model our lives after Jesus Christ by observing His life and teaching. Then we go out and mentor others to do the same.
We embrace the help of the Helper. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit came to help the church. We allow Him to lead us daily as He renews our hearts and minds and empowers us to serve.
We are kingdom minded. God’s kingdom refers to His sovereign rule. We humbly accept His sovereignty over our lives. We live as citizens of His kingdom and work to advance its goals and priorities.
